The Nexo Tech founder will appear in REVOLT TV's "Bet on Black," a five-episode series premiering Oct. 19
ATLANTA - TelAve -- Darian Crisp, a Gen Z entrepreneur, filmmaker and senior at Morehouse College, is expanding his career from creating content for major brands to developing technology for creators. The St. Louis native and founder of Nexo Tech will be featured in REVOLT TV's "Bet on Black," premiering Oct. 19, with new episodes airing every Monday throughout the five-episode series.
Powered by Target, the pitch competition series spotlights entrepreneurs from historically Black colleges and universities as they present their business ideas to industry leaders for an opportunity to secure funding.
For Crisp, the appearance marks a national platform for an entrepreneurial journey that spans creative services and hardware development. Known online as Darian The Director, he founded DC Creative Agency, producing cinematic travel, technology and brand content. His portfolio includes work for Microsoft, Cash App, Experian, Downy, Bojangles and GoFundMe.

Now, he is applying his experience behind the camera to Nexo Tech, his hardware company. Its first product, CineTank, is a rugged rolling power case designed for content creators and field crews. It combines a 99.9-watt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery, AC and USB charging capabilities, equipment protection, and built-in LED lighting in one portable system.
Nexo Tech is preparing to launch CineTank on Kickstarter, bringing Crisp's product to prospective backers and the creative professionals it is designed to serve.
His move into hardware offers a perspective on Gen Z entrepreneurship rooted in hands-on experience: identifying a need through his own creative work and building a business around a potential solution. As he completes his senior year at Morehouse, Crisp is balancing his education, an established creative agency and the development of his first hardware product.
Through "Bet on Black," viewers will have an opportunity to learn more about Crisp's ambitions and what he is building as a young Black founder entering the technology industry.
