ATLANTA ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Brian P. Kemp has appointed Carl S. Cansino as the new Washington County Solicitor General. Cansino, who is the founder of Cansino Law Firm, LLC, brings a wealth of experience in criminal law to his new role.

With a focus on criminal matters in both state and federal courts, Cansino has established himself as a respected legal professional. He also serves as the municipal court prosecutor for three cities in Georgia - Eatonton, Milledgeville, and Sandersville.

Prior to starting his own firm, Cansino worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit. Originally from Sebring, Florida, he holds a Juris Doctor from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in literature from Florida State University.

Cansino's impressive credentials have earned him recognition as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He currently resides in Tennille, Georgia with his wife Amy and their four children. With his extensive legal background and dedication to serving his community, Cansino is sure to excel in his new role as Washington County Solicitor General.
