LIMA, PERU ~ LIMA, PERU - Governor Brian P. Kemp, currently on an economic development mission in South America, has announced that Walmart, Inc. has plans to construct a state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Carnesville. This project is expected to create 1,000 new jobs and bring a whopping $1.3 billion in investment to Franklin County.

Governor Kemp expressed his excitement about this major investment from Walmart, stating that it will not only provide new job opportunities for hardworking Georgians but also allow them to work closer to home instead of commuting to larger cities for employment.
