Global Photography Specialists Reignite their SEO Strategy with Award-Winning Digital Agency
TelAve News/10901318
SHEFFIELD, U.K. - TelAve -- Sheffield-based camera and photography equipment and binocular specialists, Harrison Cameras, have returned to their former digital partner, The SEO Works, to reignite their SEO campaign.
Harrison Cameras, founded over 56 years ago, hold incredible technical knowledge and deep passion for the craft. They offer professional photographers and hobbyists across the UK, Europe and the US, access to a huge variety of cameras and camera equipment.
In 2020, Harrison Cameras saw a spike in traffic and customers due to the pandemic encouraging thousands of people to undertake new interests. And, off the back of this business boom, they sought assistance from Sheffield-based agency, The SEO Works, to help them capitalise on this further.
Despite a great relationship and strong results, a complex migration needed to be prioritised, leading to the partnership being put on hold. But with the migration proving more difficult than expected and negatively impacting visibility and rankings, SEO became a key strategic focus for the photograph specialists once again.

So, in a bid to climb the SERPs again and win back lost traffic, the photography specialists reached out directly to The SEO Works, knowing they were the perfect team for the job!
The upcoming campaign will focus on reclaiming the retailer's presence across the UK market, especially for its second-hand sales, binocular and part-exchange services, plus the extra services they provide, such as VHS tape to digital transfer, cine film to digital, custom prints and merchandise items. Harrison Cameras is also interested in how AI and LLMs can possibly impact business, and having not done any work on this previously, they are excited to see how The SEO Works can utilise them to increase visibility and conversions.
Michael Beckingham, Managing Director at Harrison Cameras (https://harrisoncameras.co.uk/), is excited to restart the campaign with The SEO Works. He said, "I've known the team at The SEO Works for over five years now, so when our new website was ready, they were the obvious choice to bring on as our digital partners. We had a great relationship with them during and since their previous SEO work for us, and we're all very excited to see what this next chapter will bring!"

Alex Hill, Sales Director at The SEO Works (https://www.seoworks.co.uk/), said: "It's wonderful when a former client comes back to us, especially a business with a strong local heritage here in Sheffield. Michael and the team know their stuff inside out, and we've kept in touch over the last five years. They've had a difficult time with a long website migration, but the team is eager to get straight to work on fixing those technical gaps, and prepare the site for LLMs and putting Sheffield back on the map for the photography customer"
