Governor Abbott Appoints Andresen, Long To Texas Economic Development Corporation Board Of Directors

~ In a recent announcement, Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Eric Andresen and Crystal Long to the Texas Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors. Their terms on the board will expire at the pleasure of the Governor.

The Texas Economic Development Corporation is a public-private partnership with the Governor's Office of Economic Development and Tourism. Its main objective is to promote Texas as the top state for business, both domestically and globally.

Eric Andresen, hailing from Austin, brings a wealth of experience to the board. He currently serves as the sales development manager at Loop Payments, Inc. Prior to this role, he worked as a sales manager for AeroFarms. In addition, Andresen is also a board member of the Central Texas Public Safety Commission. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and History from Duke University.

Joining Andresen on the board is Crystal Long from El Paso. She currently serves as the president and chief executive officer of GECU. Long also holds positions on various committees and boards such as the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Cornerstone League and Board of Trustees for TruStage Retirement Plan. She is also a member of the National Credit Union Foundation FinHealth Fund Advisory Committee. Furthermore, Long serves as a Trustee on Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare Board and is part of Borderplex Alliance Executive Committee. She received an Executive Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at El Paso.

Both Andresen and Long bring valuable expertise to their roles on the Texas Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors and are committed to promoting economic growth in Texas.
