PORTLAND, Ore. - TelAve -- Haystack Robotics, Inc., developer of Violet AI–an autonomous, AI-powered UV-C disinfection robot–today announced the closing of a $3.95 million Series A financing round to accelerate global expansion and advance its proprietary artificial intelligence and robotics platform.

The inside investment was led by an entity associated with Agadia Systems, Inc., a healthcare technology company and existing Haystack investor.

Haystack develops intelligent autonomous systems designed to make high-level environmental disinfection more consistent, scalable and accessible. By combining artificial intelligence, autonomous navigation and UV-C technology, the company aims to give healthcare organizations and other facilities a practical way to strengthen environmental hygiene without creating additional demands on already strained workforces.

Haystack's technology has applications across healthcare, senior living, education, hospitality, fitness, commercial facilities and other environments where people share spaces and surfaces.
