San Antonio family-owned property management company adds its voice to the nation's leading small business advocacy organization
SAN ANTONIO - TelAve -- Hendricks Property Management, a second generation, family-owned property management company serving the San Antonio area since 1978, announced today that it has joined the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), a nonprofit, nonpartisan, member-driven organization that advocates for small and independent business owners in Washington, D.C. and all 50 state capitals.
Founded in 1943, NFIB represents hundreds of thousands of member businesses across the country, from sole proprietors to companies with hundreds of employees. The organization takes its policy positions directly from its members through a one-vote ballot process, and works on issues that hit small businesses hardest, including taxes, healthcare costs, and regulation.

"We've been a small business in San Antonio for almost 50 years, and we know how much the rules coming out of Austin and Washington affect companies like ours," said Kyle Hendricks, Vice President of Hendricks Property Management. "Joining NFIB puts our name behind an organization that gives small business owners a real say in those decisions."
"Almost everyone we work with is a small business, from the property owners who trust us with their homes to the local contractors who keep them in good shape," said Lacy Hendricks, co-owner and Director of Marketing. "When small businesses have a voice in policy, our whole community benefits. That's why we joined."
Through its membership, Hendricks Property Management will support NFIB's advocacy work at the state and federal level and stand with other independent businesses across Texas and the country.
