Horizon Home Care makes the process easy: Once a caregiver is selected, a New York Independent Assessor (NYIA) determines how many hours of coverage the Medicaid recipient can get each week. The client's insurance plan nurse will visit the home to determine eligibility for home care. Horizon quickly handles all paperwork for the caregiver and ensures weekly payment.
