NEW YORK - TelAve -- Steven Alvarado has spent more than two decades writing songs, making records, touring, and following wherever the music led. Now, for the first time, he has gathered that life in music into a book that brings together the stories behind the songs with the songs themselves.

Along the way, he started his own record company, Mott Street Records, and crossed paths with extraordinary musicians, unexpected opportunities, and the people and places that became part of his story.

From there, the book digs into Alvarado's collection of lyrics, bringing together the complete lyrics from his solo albums for the first time, accompanied by their original album artwork. The result is a book that moves between personal stories and the words that emerged from them, offering a unique look at both the songwriter and the songs themselves.
