TelAve News/10851015
Boise, Idaho ~ Boise, Idaho - In a joint effort, Governor Brad Little and 26 other Republican governors have expressed their support for President Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Initiative and the need for a balanced federal budget. The governors sent a letter to Congressional leadership today, emphasizing the importance of streamlining government and removing unnecessary bureaucracy.

Governor Little, who announced his membership in the Governors Debt Council for a Balanced Budget Amendment to the U.S. Constitution during his 2024 State of the State and Budget address, stated that the current federal spending is unsustainable and goes against the vision of the country's founders. He believes that Congress should follow in the footsteps of American families and states like Idaho by living within their means.

The letter addressed to Senate Majority Leader John Thune and House Speaker Mike Johnson highlighted President Trump's efforts to bring efficient, result-driven solutions to state governments, similar to what Republican governors have achieved in their own states. The governors expressed their support for President Trump's DOGE Initiative and urged Congress to work alongside him in solidifying these efficiencies into law.
