MANHATTAN, N.Y. - TelAve -- Isatong.ai today said its Non-Executive Director, Professor Chris Imafidon, has accepted an invitation to take part in CNN's Global Perspectives leadership programme in Bangkok, and will share updates on "AI: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" ahead of a follow-on AI for business briefing.

Global Perspectives: In Bangkok is the inaugural Asia chapter of CNN's invitation-only events franchise. It is scheduled for 14 October 2026 at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok, alongside the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Group Annual Meetings. On-stage conversations are led by CNN journalists. Professor Imafidon said he was delighted to be invited again to the flagship programme and is looking forward to Bangkok. His contribution will focus on how leaders can separate useful AI from risk: where automation improves decisions, where bias and weak governance create harm, and what boards should ask before scaling tools in operations, policy and public services.

The Bangkok participation follows what he described as a busy September, including a hectic media day on breaking royal news in which he granted interviews to Reuters, The Times, ITV and the Press Association. He said the volume of requests reflected continued public interest in institutions, leadership and how new technology changes the way news and official communications are handled.

He will carry the same themes into a forthcoming AI for business briefing linked to the Bangkok discussions and supported by Isatong.ai. The briefing is aimed at executives, policymakers and educators and will cover practical AI governance, workforce impact, and what sound adoption looks like when error, bias and over-reliance are treated as management issues.
