Island Cloud Solutions Expands Cybersecurity Services for Prince Edward Island Businesses
TelAve News/10903320
Helping small and growing businesses strengthen security, reduce cyber risk, and protect their digital operations.
CHARLOTTETOWN, Prince Edward Island - TelAve -- Island Cloud Solutions is preparing to launch Harbourlight, a new Windows desktop platform built to help Prince Edward Island businesses discover and connect with other businesses across the province. Launching August 21, 2026, Harbourlight is designed to make it easier for Island businesses to find local suppliers, subcontractors, professional services, partners and new business opportunities through one purpose-built platform.
Harbourlight was developed around a simple idea: finding the right local business connection should not require hours of searching online, browsing social media or relying entirely on word of mouth. The platform organizes useful business-to-business information in a structured and searchable way, allowing users to search by capabilities, industries, location, services and the type of work or partnership they are looking for.

Unlike a traditional consumer directory built around ratings and reviews, Harbourlight is focused on how businesses actually work together. Business profiles can include information such as capabilities, industries served, areas of Prince Edward Island covered, project types, credentials, languages, subcontracting interests, partnership opportunities and other details that can help businesses determine whether there is a potential fit.
The platform will also include tools for saving businesses and searches, sending connection requests, receiving notifications and viewing local opportunities. An opportunity board will allow businesses to discover potential projects, partnerships and other opportunities within the Island business community. Businesses will also be able to claim their profiles and maintain more accurate information about the services and capabilities they provide.
Harbourlight is being built for a broad range of Island businesses and organizations, including trades and construction companies, tourism operators, professional services, retailers, makers, agricultural businesses, property management companies, technology and creative firms, and community organizations. The goal is not to replace existing search engines or mapping services, but to provide a more focused way of discovering the businesses, capabilities and opportunities that exist within Prince Edward Island.

Island Cloud Solutions developed Harbourlight as part of its broader focus on building practical technology for businesses. The company provides websites, cloud services, cybersecurity, IT support, automation and other digital solutions, and Harbourlight represents an expansion into its own direct-to-user software.
At its core, Harbourlight is about making the Island business community easier to navigate. By giving businesses a clearer way to find one another, understand what each company can offer and identify opportunities to work together, Island Cloud Solutions hopes Harbourlight can create more useful local connections and make doing business within Prince Edward Island a little easier.
Harbourlight launches August 21, 2026.
