Alaska Airlines became part of the same airline group as Hawaiian Airlines in September 2024 when Alaska Air Group, Inc. completed its integration with Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. While the two airlines continue to operate under their distinct brands, they have combined their networks and come together under a single Atmos Rewards loyalty program to offer travelers more options.

In 2022, they further solidified their commitment to LGB by opening an Airbus 321neo line maintenance base at the Airport, creating local jobs and expanding their operations. Today, Hawaiian Airlines remains an important part of LGB's service to Hawaii, while Alaska Airlines adds new connectivity for Long Beach area travelers.
Long Beach Airport is officially trademarked as "America's Coolest Airport™" and offers a uniquely stress-free travel experience with exceptional customer service.
