Neighbourhood Nature Coventry: Connecting Communities Through Nature
TelAve News/10901699
Intercultural Roots is continuing to grow its Neighbourhood Nature Coventry: Sherbourne to Street Corners programme, bringing residents together through nature, creativity and community action across Coventry's neighbourhoods.
COVENTRY, U.K. - TelAve -- Funded through the National Lottery Community Fund and in partnership with Third Sector Renewables, the initiative supports people from diverse backgrounds to connect with local green spaces, strengthen community relationships and take positive action for the environment. Working alongside local residents and community partners, the project creates opportunities for meaningful participation in activities that improve wellbeing, foster belonging and celebrate the natural heritage of Coventry.
Recent engagement with members of the Inini (https://inini.co.uk/) community highlighted the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and connected. Participants shared experiences of exclusion and challenges around belonging, reinforcing the project's commitment to building inclusive, community-led activities that connect people with each other and the natural world.
