BARRIE, Ontario - TelAve -- Barrie-based publisher Wintertickle Press is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Scorpion Grass, the gripping new novel by acclaimed author Heather Thomas, arriving everywhere on October 31. Masterfully blending atmospheric tension with deep psychological intrigue, Thomas delivers a hauntingly unforgettable speculative fiction tale set against the vivid backdrop of New Brunswick.

Scorpion Grass takes readers into an idyllic matriarchal society established after the disappearance of men. When a sudden domestic murder shatters this peaceful facade, elite psychologist Jorie Holmes is tasked with uncovering the dark truths behind the crime. Thomas's sharp prose and rich character development cement her status as a must-read voice in contemporary fiction.
