SAN DIEGO - TelAve -- Author, filmmaker, ocean explorer, and adventurer Michael Harlow has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Blue Planet – Red Tide, a first-contact ocean eco-thriller that asks a chilling question:

The novel follows marine scientist Dr. Trevor Steel and oceanographer Dr. Kayla Torres as they uncover evidence of an advanced civilization hidden deep beneath Earth's oceans. As red tides spread, ships disappear, and governments prepare for conflict, humanity learns that the greatest threat may not be coming from space—but from beneath the waves.

While the novel is already available through Amazon, the Kickstarter campaign offers exclusive collector rewards unavailable anywhere else, including signed paperback and hardcover editions, limited-edition bookmarks, exclusive posters, personalized author inscriptions, behind-the-scenes content, and private book club discussions with the author.

Harlow is a filmmaker, PADI Scuba Divemaster, U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Master Captain with Sailing Endorsement, and founder of The Adventure Travelers. His decades of experience sailing, diving, and exploring remote environments helped inspire the novel's blend of science, suspense, environmental themes, and first-contact mystery.
