NORTH PLAINS, Ore. - TelAve -- Print in America, a custom-printing store that prints and ships only in the United States, has opened to the public. Customers upload their own design, see it on the product as it will print, and order; every item is printed to order in the USA and shipped by USPS.

The catalog holds more than 360 products in nine categories: canvas and framed prints, metal signs, flags and banners, apparel, mugs and tumblers, blankets and other home textiles, ornaments, puzzles and mouse pads. Metal signs start at $3.90, t-shirts and flags at $7.90, and two-thirds of the catalog is priced under $20. Shipping is a flat $8 and free on orders over $70. Most items are dispatched within one to three business days and arrive in seven to nine.

The store's editor doubles as a free mockup generator: anyone can upload artwork, see it on a real product with every view drawn the way the print is laid out, and download the preview, with no account and no charge.

Print in America was founded by Oregon farmer Mike Allen, who built it after years of ordering custom gear for the farm and the community and watching it arrive late from overseas, or looking nothing like the mockup. "Whether you are growing a crop or printing a custom canvas, the secret is the same," Allen said. "Keep it local, keep it honest, and make something people are proud to bring home."

Print in America is a brand of Playmat Nexus LLC of North Plains, Oregon. The store is at https://printinamerica.com and the full story at https://printinamerica.com/story.
