NOTTS, U.K. - TelAve -- Radiotronics UK, an authorised Motorola Solutions dealer, has announced unlimited two way radio range via the Motorola Wave PTX platform.

Unlike traditional two way radio systems that use standard point to point (antenna to antenna) or repeater (signal booster) based radio communications, the Wave PTX system utilises a combination of the mobile phone network and Wi-Fi to deliver completely unlimited two way radio range.

The Wave PTX platform used in the UK & Europe will roam every available network, meaning that users of Wave PTX in the UK & Europe can expect an uninterrupted and always connected service.

Motorola Solutions has created two dedicated devices, a hand-portable radio called TLK100 and a vehicular radio called TLK150. The TLK150 vehicle radio can also be mounted on a power supply desk stand and used with a base microphone to create a base station two way radio.

Motorola Solutions also offers users to use their own smartphone, or either of Motorola's LEX-L11 or Evolve devices, via the Wave PTX app; available for both Android and Apple iPhone smartphones.

Real time GPS tracking is achieved via the cloud-based dispatch console that's compatible with Chrome web browser and can be used on any Windows 10 PC or laptop.

Wave PTX is a zero-config system, meaning the end user does not have to setup their two way radio. Radios are added and configured in the client's administration panel and delivered ready to use. Further, any future changes can be made without the client having to send their radio in for service.

Interoperability with an existing MOTOTRBO Capacity Plus two way radio system can also be achieved via a gateway.
