Retired RAF Officer Turned Personal Trainer Releases Anti-Fad Fitness Guide for Midlife Adults
TelAve News/10909651
Alan Scott's "Fitness Foundation" gives midlife readers a simple green-yellow-red system for training on good days, busy days and bad days, without the all-or-nothing approach.
ORLANDO, Fla. - TelAve -- Most people do not quit fitness because they lack willpower. They quit because their plan only works when life goes perfectly. In "Fitness Foundation: An Anti-Fad Framework for Real Strength and Real Health," personal trainer and retired Royal Air Force Officer Alan Scott offers a training approach built to survive real life.
Written for adults in their 40s to 60s who are tired of starting over, the book replaces rigid plans with practical tools:
- The Five Pillars: movement, strength, cardio health, recovery and nutrition, treated as one connected foundation.
- The Traffic Light Framework: a Green, Yellow and Red system for matching each session to the energy and time you actually have.
- The Session System: a clear standard for what counts as a successful session, even on a hard day.
More on TelAve News
- The Incentive Audit: quick questions for judging fitness trends and products before spending time or money.
"A Red Day is not a failure. It's information," said Scott. "This book is about building a foundation that still holds when work, family, injury or stress get in the way."
Scott left the Royal Air Force in 2023 after 23 years of service and moved to Florida, where he went on to compete in bodybuilding while training through hernias that needed surgery. Later injuries, including broken bones, followed a period of pushing his body too hard.
"Pushing harder is not the same as training intelligently," Scott said. "I learned that the expensive way, so my readers don't have to."
Backed by peer-reviewed research and written in plain, practical language, "Fitness Foundation" is available now on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HLK6J219
