The platform connects local musicians with individuals, businesses, and event planners looking to book live music for any occasion. Riff offers a tiered membership model for artists at every stage of their career. Free members can create a public profile and receive booking inquiries, while Riff Star and Riff Headliner subscribers unlock expanded tools including priority placement and self-sourced booking links. All tiers include Riff's integrated payment system with automatic deposits and next-day artist payouts. Bookers can browse more than 58 genres to find the right artist for any event.

Artists set a home base city and performance radius, making their profiles discoverable to bookers across Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, and surrounding communities within a 200-mile range.

Riff is also launching Riff Lessons, connecting students with qualified local music instructors for private lessons across any instrument or skill level. All Riff Instructors complete a background check before teaching on the platform.
