Service Dynamics Hosts Expert Panel on Modern Rental ERP
TelAve News/10904630
Rental technology experts will discuss the capabilities rental companies should expect from a modern ERP system.
CAMBRIDGE, Ontario - TelAve -- Service Dynamics will host a free virtual expert panel on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. EDT to explore the capabilities rental companies should expect from a modern ERP and rental management system.
The webinar, "Business Central for Rental Companies: What Does a Modern Rental ERP Need?", will bring together leaders from three rental technology providers within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem.
The panel will feature Bengt Rotheim, CEO of Armada Dynamics; Natalie Lemke, CEO of RUX Software; and Tom Marshello, Director at Suite Engine. Krystal Duffield, Sales Executive at Service Dynamics, will moderate the discussion.
Rental companies must manage more than traditional inventory. Equipment may need to be reserved, dispatched, returned, inspected, repaired, relocated, billed, and prepared for its next rental. Companies must also track the costs, availability, utilization, service history, and profitability of each asset.

When those processes are spread across disconnected systems and spreadsheets, rental businesses can struggle to maintain reliable equipment records, identify available assets, control downtime, and understand which parts of the fleet are generating the strongest returns.
The expert panel will examine how a modern rental ERP can connect equipment management with service, inventory, billing, accounting, and financial reporting.
"Rental companies need more than a system that records when equipment leaves the yard and when it comes back," said Duffield. "They need visibility into availability, utilization, maintenance, billing, and profitability. This panel will help attendees understand the capabilities they should evaluate when selecting a rental management system."
Topics will include equipment availability, fleet utilization, reservations, rental contracts, dispatching, returns, maintenance, inspections, recurring billing, asset costs, equipment profitability, and integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
The participating providers approach rental management from different perspectives. The session is intended to help attendees compare those approaches and identify the requirements that matter most to their own operations rather than promote one universal solution.
