The Inventor Playbook Announces the Availability of the Spatial Computing Patent Portfolio
SALT LAKE CITY - TelAve -- The Inventor Playbook (TIP) announced that they are the exclusive representative to sell the Spatial Computing patent portfolio developed by Reavire, an early pioneer in technology to enable immersive AR applications tied to physical locations.
The Spatial Computing patent portfolio consists of 15 issued US patents and eight CN, JP, and WO counterparts across six patent families. The inventions cover placing virtual objects in mapped physical environments, spatial mapping, motion tracking and human pose capture, SLAM tracking recovery, device localization, and access control. The technology is applicable to spatial computing, augmented and mixed reality, and IoT applications.
The key patent (US 11,660,528) describes a method for positioning virtual objects in a game that maps to the player's physical space, including fitting multiple gameplay spaces to distinct rooms in the user's environment. The patent has over 15 years of remaining life and evidence of use has been identified in products from major spatial computing platform providers.

Other patents in the portfolio cover motion capture and human pose tracking, pointing direction and velocity state detection, SLAM tracking continuity and recovery, and antenna-based device localization. These are core components of any spatial computing platform.
TIP has developed confidential claim charts outlining the demonstrated use and value of the patented technology. Evidence of Use materials are available under NDA.
The sale offering represents an opportunity to acquire a foundational patent portfolio covering technology already implemented by leading spatial computing platforms. With continued growth in AR, MR, and spatial applications, the portfolio's relevance and value are expected to increase.
Offers for the patent portfolio will be reviewed as they are received, and the patent owner intends to finalize a transaction in Q2 2026. To receive an overview of the portfolio or detailed confidential materials, contact Andy Godsey at andy@theinventorplaybook.com.
