Springfield: RESCHEDULED: Public hearing on FY2026 funds and HUD Annual Action Plan Jan. 5

~ A joint public hearing between the City Council and the Citizens Advisory Committee for Community Development (CACCD) of Springfield, Missouri has been rescheduled due to a facility conflict. The meeting, originally scheduled for tonight, has been moved to Thursday, Jan. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Mill Building located at 216 W. Central St.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the proposed use of funds for the city's Fiscal Year 2026 and its U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) FY 2026 Annual Action Plan. The meeting will take place at the Springfield Regional Police and Fire Training Center on Monday, January 6, 2026 at 6:00 pm.

During the meeting, topics such as the Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnerships Program will be covered. Attendees will also have an opportunity to comment on proposed activities for the upcoming fiscal year after presentations have been made.
