NAPLES, Fla. - TelAve -- Sunshine Ace Hardware is continuing its free Summer Fishing Series on June 19 with an appearance by Zyan Alfrey, a fishing-focused social media personality known online as "The Reel Skipper."

Alfrey will headline the event and share insights about how to select the right fishing gear and apparel, identifying locations where fish are biting, how to understand fish behavior and more. Alfrey is a Florida-based content creator whose entertaining fishing videos and educational tips have attracted more than 260,000 followers across social media platforms.

"Over the past 10 years, our annual Reel in the Sunshine Fishing Expo has drawn huge crowds, so we developed the Summer Fishing Series to continue connecting amateur and recreational anglers with local fishing experts," said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. The Summer Fishing Series, which offers one-night-only deals and discounts for attendees, includes educational seminars hosted by Southwest Florida's top fishing guides, boat captains and social media influencers. The first session in May featured Capt. Chris Turner and Capt. Rich Gorden. Sunshine Ace Hardware is planning a third fishing seminar for July.

The upcoming Summer Fishing Series event, which is presented by Daiwa, begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 19 at Sunshine Ace Hardware, 9100 Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs. Registration is not required.
