Teens in Flight to Host Fall Flight Camp

TelAve News/10905955
PALM COAST, Fla. - TelAve -- Teens-In-Flight will host its Fall Aviation Camp on Saturday mornings from Oct. 3 through Oct. 31 at Flagler County Airport, offering ground-school instruction designed to help students work toward the FAA Private Pilot Written Exam.

"After a very successful Summer Ground School camp, we're excited to bring the program back this fall and keep building momentum for students who are serious about aviation," said Col. (Ret.) Jack Howell. "This camp gives teens a structured, supportive path to prepare for the FAA Private Pilot written exam while gaining skills and confidence they can carry into future training and careers."

The camp will meet from 8 a.m. to noon and will combine classroom instruction with an online training course through Gleim Exam Prep, an educational company that provides online self-study courses and reference materials for professional accounting and aviation certifications. Students will receive an E6B computer, plotter, logbook, a Teens-In-Flight bag, and the required Gleim online access code and textbook.
