~ Governor Greg Abbott has recently announced the appointment of two individuals to the Manufactured Housing Board in Texas. James Brady and Joe Christian have been selected to serve on the board, with their terms set to expire on January 31, 2031.

The Manufactured Housing Board is responsible for regulating the manufactured housing industry in Texas. With these new appointments, the board will have experienced and knowledgeable individuals guiding its decisions.

James Brady, a resident of Arlington, brings a wealth of experience to the board. He currently serves as an executive director at JPMorgan Chase and holds various leadership roles within the company. In addition, Brady is a Licensed Counselor and Certified General Appraiser, providing mental health counseling services and expertise in real estate appraisal. He is also an active member of professional organizations such as the Appraisal Institute and Texas Counseling Association.

Brady's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from UT Arlington, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas, and a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University.

Joining Brady on the board is Joe Christian from San Antonio. Christian is a senior vice president at Marsh McLennan Agency and has extensive experience in business management and entrepreneurship. He is also actively involved in his community through his participation in organizations such as Junior Achievement and Alamo Heights Little League.

Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from UT Austin and a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business in Austin.

These appointments are subject to Senate confirmation, but Governor Abbott has expressed confidence that both Brady and Christian will bring valuable insights to the Manufactured Housing Board. Their terms will expire on January 31, 2031, giving them ample time to make significant contributions to this important regulatory body.
