The governor was joined by Texas Division of Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd, Senator Phil King, Representative Mike Olcott, Palo Pinto County Judge Shane Long, Jack County Judge Brian Keith Umphress, as well as other first responders and state officials. Together, they discussed strategies for managing the wildfire and providing aid to those affected.

Texans who have been impacted by this disaster are urged to report any damage using TDEM's Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT) when it is safe to do so. This can be done by visiting damage.tdem.texas.gov. By reporting damage information through this online survey, officials can better connect impacted Texans with necessary resources and services.
