The 2026 State of Growing AI Market Share Through Partnerships

TelAve News/10903114
A new briefing urges AI and software companies outside North America to embed with U.S. vendors before the 2028 platform window closes.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - TelAve -- North America Entry today published "The 2026 State of Growing AI Market Share Through Partnerships," a briefing for AI and software companies outside North America. Its finding: 2026 is the year the U.S. software market decides which AI platforms it will run for the rest of the decade, and the window to get embedded is open now but closing fast.

U.S. buyers are consolidating. Per the report, 68% of technology leaders are cutting the number of AI vendors they run, targeting a single, unified stack by 2028 to 2029. Embedded AI is spreading fast: 40% of enterprise applications will ship with embedded AI agents in 2026, up from 5% in 2024. The vendors winning those slots decide which AI to embed and resell under their own brands, and those choices lock in for years.

For a company outside the United States, the fastest, most economical way into the U.S. market is not to sell around those platforms but to be embedded inside one. Partnerships now drive U.S. software revenue: channel-sourced revenue rose from 21% to 31% in a single year, and top-quartile software companies source more than 40% through partners. One white-label or "powered by" partnership can reach a vendor's entire installed base overnight.

"U.S. vendors are making AI platform decisions right now that will lock in for three to five years," said Andrew Geisel, Founder of North America Entry. "One embedded partnership with the right U.S. vendor can beat building a direct sales team from scratch. Get embedded in the next 12 to 18 months and you ride that installed base; wait, and most slots will be filled."

The briefing answers the questions international founders ask: who can help an AI or software company with go-to-market (GTM) in the USA, and who can help with strategic partnering with U.S. software companies.
