FRANKFORT, KY, October 7th, 2025 – The Capital Plaza Hotel is pleased to announce the grand reopening of The Lounge, a revamped dining and social destination in the heart of bourbon country. Under the leadership of a new Director of Food and Beverage, The Lounge will reopen its doors October 8th.

WHAT: Grand Reopening of The Lounge at Capital Plaza Hotel, featuring grill and bar-style food, a wide selection of beer and wine, and a curated list of local bourbons.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Food service will be available until 9:00 PM.

WHERE: Capital Plaza Hotel, 405 Wilkinson Blvd, Frankfort, KY 40601.

WHY: To celebrate the return of a local favorite, offering a comfortable and casual atmosphere for hotel guests and the public to enjoy classic American fare and Kentucky's signature spirit.
