Healthcare Innovation Consortium (HIC) unveils the EPR Network at this year's EPR Summit, promising a collaborative future for digital healthcare.

MACCLESFIELD, U.K. - TelAve -- The Healthcare Innovation Consortium (HIC), a leading healthcare consultancy dedicated to advancing digital transformation in healthcare, announced today the official launch of the UK's first Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Network at the highly anticipated EPR Summit.

Held in partnership with event management company Convenzis Group, the summit, taking place on February 12th in London, is expected to attract over 300 delegates, including C-suite healthcare leaders, CIOs, CCIOs, Directors of Digital, and NHS England representatives. It will serve as the launchpad for the new network.

The EPR Network, conceptualised by HIC Founder and CEO Hadleigh Stollar, operates as a membership-based platform, bringing together EPR suppliers and innovators, while inviting public sector leaders and policymakers to contribute their expertise. The network aims to accelerate EPR adoption across the UK by promoting collaboration, breaking down silos, and ensuring no part of the healthcare system is left behind

EPR systems (also known as Electronic Health Records, or EHR) centralise patient data such as medical history, test results, and medications, into a unified digital platform, improving care delivery and efficiency. NHS England has made significant strides in EPR adoption, with 90% of NHS Trusts adopting EPR systems ahead of the March 2025 target. Challenges remain, especially in optimising systems for the final 10% of Trusts. The EPR Network aims to address these challenges, and NHS England will actively engage with the network, sharing case studies and contributing insights to disseminate best practices and promote knowledge sharing among healthcare providers.

HIC acknowledges the founding partners of the EPR Network, many of whom are exhibiting at the EPR Summit — Altera Digital Health, BridgeHead Software, CLEO Systems, Dedalus, Hill Dickinson, IGEL Technology, Orion Health, Plan4 Systems, and Ready Computing — for their commitment and expertise in driving the network's success.

"We're thrilled to introduce the EPR Network to the healthcare community," said Hadleigh Stollar. "The network presents a unique opportunity for EPR providers, healthcare professionals, and policymakers to join forces in tackling digital transformation challenges and working toward a common goal — improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency."

"The EPR Network offers a platform for members to share insights, best practices, and tackle the biggest challenges facing digital healthcare today, including interoperability, data security, and system integration," said Dr Kechagioglou. We're building a community committed to openness, collaboration, and strategic problem-solving."
