The campaign was designed to reinforce E-ONE's commitment to the community while leveraging United Way of Marion County's position as a leader in the county.
OCALA, Fla. - TelAve -- From June 1 to June 10, United Way of Marion County ran its workplace giving campaign with E-ONE. UWMC raised nearly $19,000 from employees and corporate matching. The campaign highlights E-ONE's commitment to communities in Marion County and recognizes UWMC as a visionary leader in community building.
"The team at E-ONE is proud to support the United Way of Marion County's mission of helping our neighbors thrive. E-ONE has been a vital part of Marion County for over half a century, and we're deeply invested in the strength, resiliency and future of our community," said Mike Virnig, president, specialty vehicle segment, Terex Corporation.
E-ONE is headquartered in Ocala and chose to partner with UWMC due in large part to its community programs like Strong Families, Community Partnership Schools, ReadingPals and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, all of which are highly visible and helpful to the public. This year, E-ONE was a corporate sponsor ($10,000 donation) of the Children's Charity Classic, an equestrian event that benefits local children's charities.
