On November 28th, CPW will be hosting "Fresh Air Friday," a day where both Colorado residents and out-of-state visitors can enjoy free access to Colorado state parks. This rare opportunity allows individuals to experience the beauty of Colorado's great outdoors.

Governor Polis expressed his excitement for this event, stating, "What better way to spend the holiday season than exploring one of Colorado's amazing state parks? Fresh Air Friday is a great opportunity for Coloradans and out-of-state visitors to take advantage of free access to the parks, try a new outdoor recreation activity, and spend time with loved ones."

Fresh Air Friday offers a chance for individuals to create new outdoor memories with their loved ones while experiencing the world-class state parks that Colorado has to offer. Whether one is a nature lover, an outdoor adventurer, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, there are endless activities waiting at each park. To plan your visit and make the most of Fresh Air Friday, CPW recommends utilizing their online State Park Finder tool. This resource provides a map of all Colorado state parks and highlights the diverse range of activities available at each location. Additionally, visitors are encouraged to check out the CPW Events Calendar for park events and hikes.

For those looking for both outdoor adventure and some retail therapy on Fresh Air Friday, CPW has an added bonus. All retail items on cpwshop.com and at Colorado state park visitor centers and offices will be 25% off from November 28th until December 1st. This includes subscriptions to Colorado Outdoors magazine. However, please note that discounts do not apply to ammunition, gasoline, food, firewood or wildlife licenses, park passes or registration products.

CPW also wants to remind Colorado residents of the option to purchase a $29 Keep Colorado Wild Pass with their next vehicle registration.
