Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices FNR Sponsors Family Support Services' Be an Angel initiative
TelAve News/10883482
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - TelAve -- Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty announces the company's Metro Offices of Avondale/Ortega and San Marco/San Jose took part in Family Support Services of Duval and Nassau Counties' annual Be an Angel holiday drive for the fifth consecutive year. The initiative is an effort to make the holidays extra special for First Coast children in foster care.
The company's Realtors and employees purchased gifts from a child's wish list or made a monetary donation so that the children receive holiday presents they would not otherwise be able to enjoy this time of year. The Metro offices team collected and purchased gifts for 50 children in foster care in Duval County.
"We are so proud of our Metro team and their continued support of the Be an Angel campaign to ensure all children have a gift under the tree," said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty President Ann King. "One of our greatest joys as a company is supporting charitable organizations that make a positive difference in the lives of many local children and families."
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Realtor Kimberly Waterhouse leads the real estate firm's Be an Angel participation.

"Every child deserves to feel loved at the holidays," said Waterhouse. "This is more than buying gifts. It's ensuring that a child feels the magic of Christmas and knows their community cares about them. It is our pleasure to bring smiles, love, and laughter to their day."
Waterhouse also secured a continued donation from the Gray Family Foundation that will help fulfill Christmas wishes for an additional 204 children served by Family Support Services. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty is among Family Support Services' top donors supporting the Be an Angel campaign – the agency's largest giving program of the year.
"We deeply appreciate the partnership with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty and the Gray Family Foundation for their ongoing support of our community's children in foster care through Be an Angel," said Leigh Ann Luttrell, Community Engagement Manager for Family Support Services Duval and Nassau Counties. "Each year they provide enormous joy to these children and teens, and their partnership is an important part of our program success through the year."
