Better Together, Christ Community Church to host community job fair Jan. 15 in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. - TelAve -- Better Together, a nonprofit dedicated to families and children, is partnering with Christ Community Church to host a community job fair for Fort Myers residents on Thursday, Jan. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Registration is now open for job seekers and employers to participate in the January event. With a spirit of hope and celebration, the church-based job fairs empower job seekers by connecting them with local employers who are ready to hire, while offering supportive services that foster meaningful connections and increase opportunities for lasting employment. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to job seekers to review resumes, and additional services will be available onsite.
The Jan. 15 job fair will take place at Christ Community Church, located at 4050 Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers. Job seekers and employers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/ChristCommunity or by texting "JOBS" to 844-987-3949.

With job openings available across various industry sectors, participating employers include A Perfect Choice Home Care, Aqua Home Care, AWP Safety, Florida Department of Corrections, Humana, Mancan Staffing, McKenney Home Care, Naples Soap Company, New Horizons of Southwest Florida, RaceTrac, Reece Windows & Doors, St. Matthews House, U.S. Navy, Waste Pro and WIS International. Local resource partners will also join Better Together in offering various onsite services.
Additional employers and resource partners will be added as the job fair approaches; visit the Better Together website for the latest list of participants.
The community job fairs are part of Better Together's "Better Jobs" program, which has helped more than 46,000 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 24 states. So far this year, more than 3,400 interviews or initial jobs have been offered.
Churches interested in hosting a Better Together job fair can visit BetterTogetherUS.org for more information.
