Better Together, First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce to host community job fair March 25

FORT PIERCE, Fla. - TelAve -- Better Together, a nonprofit on a mission to build strong families and communities, is partnering with First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce to host a community job fair on Wednesday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Registration is now open for job seekers and employers to participate in the March event. With a spirit of hope and celebration, the church-based job fairs empower job seekers by connecting them with local employers who are ready to hire, while offering supportive services that foster meaningful connections and increase opportunities for lasting employment. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to participants to review resumes, and additional services will be available onsite.
The March 25 job fair will take place at First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce, located at 515 Ave. A in Fort Pierce. Job seekers and employers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/FUMCFP or by texting "JOBS" to 844-987-3949.
With job openings available across various industry sectors, participating employers include Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County; Council on Aging of St. Lucie; East Coast Migrant Head Start; Florida Department of Children and Families Office of Economic Self-Sufficiency; Florida Department of Corrections; Fort Pierce Police Department; Indian River State College; Liberty Tire Recycling; Massey Services; New Horizons of the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee; Pollo Tropical; St. Lucie Public Schools; Target; Treasure Coast Hospice; WIS International and more.

Local resource partners will also join Better Together in offering various onsite services, including Amandla Wellness Center; CareerSource Research Coast; Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County; Florida Blue; Indian River State College; PHP Agency; Prevention Central; SafeSpace; The Early Learning Coalition of St. Lucie County; Treasure Coast Food Bank; United Against Poverty; Whole Family Health Center; iTHINK Financial Credit Union and more.
Additional employers and resource partners will be added as the job fair approaches.
The community job fairs are part of Better Together's "Better Jobs" program, which has helped more than 48,000 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 24 states.
