BUILDING HOPE ANNOUNCES WINNERS FOR FOURTH ANNUAL IMPACT AWARDS

~ Building Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting charter schools, has recently announced the winners of their fourth annual Building Hope IMPACT Awards. These awards recognize outstanding charter schools across the nation for their contributions to the charter school community.
The twelve winners were chosen from four different categories: Community Engagement, Educational Innovation, Student Empowerment, and the S. Joseph Bruno Model Charter Award. Each category features three exceptional public charter schools that showcase the transformative power of education in changing lives and communities. A total of $160,000 in grants will be awarded to these schools, with one $20,000 grant and two $10,000 grants in each category.
"We are proud to announce our fourth cohort of exceptional charter schools which demonstrate the powerful impact great education has on the lives of students," said Building Hope President and CEO William D. Hansen. "Building Hope is honored to support these twelve inspirational schools and celebrate their dedication to student success, educational excellence, and community impact."

- East Mountain High School in Sandia Park, New Mexico
- Sallie B. Howard School of Arts & Science in Wilson, North Carolina

- Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy in Chattanooga, Tennessee
- Island Montessori in Wilmington, North Carolina
- Middleburg Community Charter School in Middleburg, Virginia
Educational Innovation Award
- Le Monde International School in Norman, Oklahoma
- Mālama Honua Public Charter School in Waimanalo, Hawaii
- Reaching All Minds Academy in Durham, North Carolina
Student Empowerment Award

The winners will have the opportunity to share their unique stories and receive their grant awards at Building Hope's fourth annual IMPACT Summit on May 6-7, 2025 in Miami. The summit is open to charter school leaders nationwide and registration information can be found on the Building Hope website.
