HOUSTON - TelAve -- Renewable Parts USA are at the forefront of refurbishment and remanufacturing in the wind and solar industries in the USA and this fall sees another milestone in the company's explosive growth path.

Having shared a mechanical shop in Humble, TX and developing a very successful partnership with US engineering firm Votec for the last 2 years, the business is moving to a new facility in Houston with a footprint that is 4 times what they had previously, and it couldn't come soon enough!

The business has been remanufacturing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical parts at scale for the US renewables industries, with a particular focus on yaw drives, motors, calipers and electrical and electronic components for wind turbines, with upwards of 100 units per month passing through the shop. The processes themselves are efficient and the shop is lean, but the volumes of defective cores required to do this work at scale mean the business needed far more space, and the solution was a mere 15 miles away - a stone's throw by Texan standards!

From October 2026 Renewable Parts USA will be operating from their new shop just west of George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The move has been in the planning since early in the summer and was announced to a small group of suppliers, customers and industry colleagues at the company's "Humble Beginnings" event in the previous shop.

On a trip from Scotland to visit the new site in September, group CEO James Barry said of the expansion, "The new facility represents a huge step up in capability and is a signal of our growing confidence in developing remanufacture services at scale. This investment will provide the opportunity to rapidly increase volumes over the next two years but also provide a wider range of solutions for our customers. The market for remanufactured parts is growing rapidly, and we are delighted to respond positively with this key development. "
