TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has revealed that Robert Spottswood Jr. will be reappointed to the South Florida Water Management District. Spottswood, who currently serves as the President of Spottswood Companies, Inc., Spottswood Management and Keystar Construction, as well as a Partner at Spottswood & Sterling, PPLC, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.

Aside from his business ventures, Spottswood is also actively involved in various conservation efforts. He is a member of the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council and serves on the boards of the Nature Conservancy and the Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida. With a bachelor's degree in food and resource economics from the University of Florida and a juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Spottswood is well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of this position.

However, his appointment is still subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate. If confirmed, Spottswood will continue to play an integral role in managing South Florida's water resources for the betterment of its residents and environment.
