PITTSBURGH , March 26, 2025 ~ Houston inventor creates new punching bag for improved training

A Houston inventor has recently unveiled a new patent-pending design for a punching bag that aims to enhance a fighter's training regimen. The SEPULVEDA PUNCHING OCTAGON, created by the inventor, offers an improved way to practice uppercut punches.

According to the inventor, the idea for the punching bag came from a desire to create a more effective workout or training tool. "I wanted to create a new punching bag that would provide a more effective fighting-style workout or training regimen," he stated.

The innovative design of the SEPULVEDA PUNCHING OCTAGON allows fighters to effectively land and practice all types of punches. It also allows for proper striking with the flat part of the fingers, rather than using knuckles while performing uppercuts. This could potentially enhance performance for boxers and fighting sports enthusiasts.
