ARLINGTON, Texas - TelAve -- Ladies in Film & Television Announces Honorees for the 4th Annual Texas Indie Filmmaker Awards (TIFA 2026)

5x Emmy Award-Winning Journalist Tashara Parker and Actor Reginald "Bruh Man" Ballard to Be Honored; 2025 LIFT Award Recipient Gail Cronauer Returns to Pass the Torch

ARLINGTON, Texas — Ladies in Film & Television (LIFT), a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, today announced the honorees for the 4th Annual Texas Indie Filmmaker Awards (TIFA), taking place Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Bob Duncan Center in Arlington, Texas.

This year's ceremony will honor Reginald "Bruh Man" Ballard with the Texas Legend Award and Tashara Parker with the LIFT Award.

Ballard, a Galveston, Texas native, is best known for his role as "Bruh Man" on the FOX sitcom Martin and as W.B. on The Bernie Mac Show, with a career spanning television, film, and stand-up comedy. The Texas Legend Award honors his body of work, longevity, and enduring connection to Texas.

Parker is a 5x Emmy Award-winning journalist, speaker, and founder of Loud Women Lead, an organization dedicated to helping women lead with confidence and authenticity. The LIFT Award recognizes individuals who use their platform, talent, and influence to help others rise.

In a full-circle moment, Gail Cronauer, the 2025 LIFT Award recipient and Vice President of SAG-AFTRA Dallas, will return to TIFA 2026 to personally present the LIFT Award to Parker.
