Designed as a factory-tested, modular distribution assembly, each MV Skid incorporates power conversion systems (PCS), a step-up power transformer, and MV ring main unit (RMU) switchgear onto a rigid base. By converting low-voltage AC power from PCS units to medium-voltage power, these pre-assembled skids significantly reduce field installation complexity and streamline project deployment for utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS).

5MVA MV Skid Solution
The Liyond 5MVA MV skid features a 5,000 kVA transformer, RMU switchgear, 2 PCS units, and advanced protective devices. With a compact modular design, the 5MVA MV skid compact is housed in a standard 20-foot high cube container, which greatly improves on-site installation efficiency and minimizes overall costs.

10MVA Dual Modular MV Skid Solution
Different from the 5MVA MV skid, the 10MVA MV skid features a 10,000kVA transformer and 4 PCS units, housed in a 40-foot high cube container. Therefore, this 10MVA dual MV skid can deliver higher capacity power conversion and enhanced operational redundancy for large-scale utility storage.

Both models are in compliance with IEC 61850 protocol and offer configurable options that can be tailored to meet specific project demands and environmental site conditions.
