Rose Noire Productions' Fashion Journey Hits 100% Completion Rate in NYC Schools

Mount Vernon-based nonprofit's Human Architecture framework drives 80% growth in youth self-efficacy and leadership across East Harlem residency program.
NEW YORK - TelAve -- Rose Noire Productions, an authorized New York City Department of Education vendor, announced today that its flagship Fashion Journey program has achieved a 100% completion rate and an 80% documented increase in participant self-efficacy and leadership among students at Renaissance School of the Arts in East Harlem.
Fashion Journey is a paid, in-school workforce residency that uses fashion, film, and design as tools for identity development, built on a proprietary framework called Human Architecture. Rather than treating fashion as an elective, the program uses technical mastery as the entry point for building career readiness, confidence, and long-term workforce outcomes among NYC public school students.

"We don't teach fashion for fashion's sake," said Ray Lyles, Chairman and CEO of Rose Noire Productions. "We use it to help young people see themselves differently, and that shift is what shows up in the numbers."
The organization's work was recently profiled in the New York Amsterdam News and featured on BronxNet television. Rose Noire Productions is now expanding Fashion Journey to additional NYC public schools and Westchester County sites, and scaling a related program, ID.ENTITY, for court-involved and at-risk young adults in partnership with community organizations across the Bronx and Westchester.
Rose Noire Productions is Candid Platinum Verified and maintains full NYC PASSPort and procurement compliance. For partnership or press inquiries, contact info@hausofnoire.org
