~ Merry Main Street is in full swing in downtown Mesa, offering a variety of activities for visitors to enjoy through Jan. 6. With over 40 restaurants, coffee shops and bars, as well as 60 eclectic stores and businesses, there is something for everyone.

The Holiday Sunset Market brings original and tasty gifts to Merry Main Street every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with more than 30 local vendors selling fresh grocery products, hot food, artisan goods and more. There will also be demonstrations and live music.

Santa has also made an appearance at The Post, the new City-owned community and event space located at 26 N. Macdonald, where he is taking gift requests and posing for photos on Thursdays in addition to Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m..

Mesa's Gnome on the Roam, Bingles, is also roaming downtown Mesa this holiday season spreading holiday cheer at popular locations around town with clues posted each week on social media for a chance to win prizes.

The Winter Wonderland Ice Rink is open daily at the Plaza at Mesa City Center with tickets available online for a special day or session at merrymainst.com/icerink. Holiday movies are also being shown every Saturday in December at the Plaza with a schedule available on the Merry Main Street calendar.

Jack Frost's Food Truck Forest can be found every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m.-9:30 p.m., offering delicious meals or snacks while visiting downtown Mesa's Merry Main Street festivities .

The Mesa Temple Christmas Lights spectacular is open nightly through Dec 31st from 5 p.m.-10 p.m., featuring hundreds of thousands of colorful lights free of charge .

The Mesa Santa Express runs Dec 8th-16th from 6 p.m.-10 p.m., providing visitors with festive songs, cookies and an opportunity to meet Santa himself!
