'When experts said my recovery was "hopeless," I jokingly reminded them that I was able to move my "toe of hope." Over the years, my tiny but mighty toe has inspired children and adults to learn more and advocate for the ideal recovery option for them.' - Lisa Blackburn Ullven, Author of Multi-Year #1 Best Seller, "Secrets to Sustainable Solutions – Tips from Business, Science & Non-Profit Experts."
About Wellness On the Go!
When she volunteered after a natural disaster, Ullven was inspired to create an abbreviated "on the go" version of the 2-day Wellness Recovery Action Plan® class. She found that even the helpers from Case Managers to Fire Chiefs were in need of the added peace of mind that comes with a plan. The State of Florida Office, Office of the Attorney General, and SPC Center for Public Innovation, added Wellness On the Go! to the VOCA curriculum offered through the Office for Victims of Crime, Office of Justice Programs to their curriculum to help victims and advocates across the state of Florida.
