~ The eastbound passing lane of Battlefield Road at the intersection of Lone Pine Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 12 to roughly Dec. 18 for concrete panel repair and replacement associated with the Battlefield Corridor Improvement Project. The eastbound to northbound left turn lane will also be closed during this time. Access to all businesses in the area will be maintained, however, eastbound motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route if possible. The Battlefield Corridor Improvement Project is expected for completion this winter and more information can be found at springfieldmo.gov/battlefieldcorridor.
