Texas: Governor Abbott Announces Loloi Distribution Facility In Ennis
TelAve News/10884173
~ Ennis, Texas - Governor Greg Abbott has announced that Loloi, Inc., a leading textile brand, will be constructing a new distribution facility in Ennis. The facility, which will cover over 1 million square feet, is expected to create more than 380 new jobs and bring in $20 million in capital investment. This development is part of a multi-phase project to establish a distribution headquarters in the area.
To support this expansion, the Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) has granted $2,451,000 to Loloi. In addition, the company has been offered a $45,000 Veteran Created Job Bonus. Governor Abbott expressed his excitement about this investment and its potential impact on the community. "Texas is where the crossroads of hard work and opportunity lead to success," he stated. "This $20 million investment by Loloi in Ennis just south of Dallas will create hundreds of good-paying jobs for hardworking Texans."
Loloi was founded in Dallas in 2003 and has since become a family-owned wholesale producer and distributor of designer rugs, pillows, and throws. The company is now expanding into other home furnishing categories and sees Texas as an ideal location for growth. "Texas has been our home since we started Loloi more than 20 years ago," said Founder and President Amir Loloi. "The state continues to provide opportunities to grow and this new facility in Ennis will allow us to add more jobs and create a world-class facility that we are proud of."

Ennis Mayor Kameron Raburn also expressed his enthusiasm for this development. "The City of Ennis is honored to welcome Loloi, Inc. as they expand their operations here in our community," he said. "This investment represents not only new jobs and economic growth for our city but also a strong vote of confidence in the talented workforce and vibrant business climate we've built in Ennis."
Miriam Castillo, Director of the Ennis Economic Development Corporation, echoed Mayor Raburn's sentiments. "This announcement reflects the cumulative work that has gone into creating opportunity in Ennis through partnerships and long-term vision," she said. "Loloi's footprint and associated investment mark a meaningful expansion of our region's industrial base."
The Texas Enterprise Fund is a performance-based grant that aims to attract new businesses and create good-paying jobs in the state. It provides support to businesses relocating or expanding in Texas, competing with out-of-state locations. This grant is a testament to the state's commitment to fostering economic growth and creating opportunities for its residents.
With its robust infrastructure and transportation networks, Texas offers unmatched operating advantages for companies looking to expand. Governor Abbott summed it up by saying, "There truly is no better place than Texas to live, work, build a business, and raise a family."
