Community hike brings together networking, wellness, and purpose to support mental health awareness in Southern Nevada. The event is FREE and open to the public.
LAS VEGAS - TelAve -- The Avery Burton Foundation (ABF), a Las Vegas-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and resilience through education and storytelling, is partnering with Vegas Brunch Boys, a local social networking group, for the 5th Annual "Hike & Heal" event on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
The annual event invites community members to come together for a morning of movement, mindfulness, and meaningful conversation centered on mental wellness. Participants will enjoy a guided group hike along the Historic Railroad Tunnel Trail in Boulder City, located near the Porte Cochere of the Hoover Dam Lodge Hotel, overlooking Lake Mead.
"Healing often starts with connection," said Reggie Burton, founder of the Avery Burton Foundation and author of the new book, Becoming A Mental Health Champion (Amazon). "Partnering with the Vegas Brunch Boys gives us a chance to reach new audiences—young professionals who care about their community and are ready to support mental wellness in meaningful ways."
