Disney Streamer Network Establishes Creator Code of Conduct

TelAve News/10909507
A shared standard of respect — for guests, for Cast Members and the parks, and for fellow creators — for the network's 72 member channels

RALEIGH, N.C. - TelAve -- RALEIGH, N.C., Oct. 19, 2026 — The Disney Streamer Network (DSN) has established its Creator Code of Conduct, adopted October 15. The code is built on three pillars of respect: respect for the guest, respect for Cast Members and the park itself, and respect for others in the community.

Respect for the guest:

- Don't congregate. When DSN streamers meet up, keep the group moving — never cluster in walkways, queues, or photo spots at busy times.
- Children need a parent's permission. Never feature, interview, or film a child without a parent or guardian's permission. No permission, no appearance — no exceptions.
- No filming in private areas. Never film in restrooms, changing areas, or other private spaces — cameras stay off or put away.

Respect for Cast Members and the park itself:

- Cast Members make the magic possible and are creators' allies. Under the "Camera Down" rule, members lower the camera or pause the stream when interacting with Cast Members without permission to film.
- Comply with Cast Member instructions, immediately and cheerfully. If asked to stop filming, move, or adjust equipment, a member complies — never arguing, debating park rules on stream, or rallying viewers against a Cast Member.

Respect for others in the community:

- Basic decency, always. No harassment, no slurs, never single anyone out for ridicule on stream.
- Respect every channel, their mods, and their community — never tear one down, publicly or behind the scenes. DSN channels compete on quality, never by diminishing someone else's.
- Respect other creators' content. Never rebroadcast, restream, or re-upload another creator's stream, clips, or footage as your own.

"This code comes down to one word: respect," said DSN founder Lawrence Wilson. "Respect for our fellow guests and their visit that means the world to them. Respect for the Cast Members who make the magic, and for the parks themselves. And respect for the other creators in this community — we compete on the quality of our streams, never by tearing somebody else down. That's the kind of network DSN is, and this code is how we keep it that way."
