BUFORD, Ga. - TelAve -- Stunning lakeside views and a mouthwatering buffet come together for an unforgettable holiday gathering this Thanksgiving at Lanier Islands Resort. The Georgia lakeside destination invites guests to skip the cooking and the cleanup in favor of the opportunity to relax, indulge, and make the most of the season while enjoying an expertly prepared Thanksgiving feast. From traditional favorites like carved turkey and cornbread stuffing to decadent desserts, this bountiful holiday spread will have something to satisfy every craving. Boasting an imaginatively crafted menu by Director of Operations Nishant Chaudhary and Executive Chef Whitney Okula, the Thanksgiving Buffet will be served in the Grand Ballroom at Legacy Lodge on Thursday, November 26, between noon and 6 p.m.

"From our Legacy Lodge to our Legacy Golf Course, the word 'legacy' is seen throughout Lanier Islands, and that's intentional," said Matthew Bowling, President of Lanier Islands Resort. "As a member of the Williams Family, which has operated the Resort for three generations, I take great pride in the traditions we've helped create for Georgia families. Our Thanksgiving Buffet is an annual tradition for a growing number of families, including my own, and we are honored to be a part of that celebration. With Magical Nights of Lights already underway by Thanksgiving, it's also a wonderful opportunity for families to extend their visit, spend time together, and kick off the Holiday season at the Islands."
